These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the THEMWISE mobile application, published by Efelyra Studio ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using THEMWISE, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Educational and entertainment purpose

THEMWISE is an educational and entertainment micro-learning app about relationship science, attraction, dating, communication, social psychology, and interpersonal dynamics. All content is provided solely for general informational and entertainment purposes. THEMWISE does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, sexual health, or relationship therapy counseling. It is never a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

2. Scientific research and limitations

The studies and surveys summarized in THEMWISE represent probabilistic findings in specific research samples and contexts. Correlation does not imply causation, and group-level statistics cannot predict or describe any specific individual person or relationship. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and apply any information provided in the app.

3. No guarantee of personal outcomes

Efelyra Studio makes no representation or warranty that applying concepts or insights from THEMWISE will improve any relationship, predict human behavior, resolve interpersonal conflicts, or produce any specific personal outcome.

4. License to use the application

Subject to these Terms, Efelyra Studio grants you a limited, revocable, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use THEMWISE on compatible devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial purposes.

5. Intellectual property rights

THEMWISE, including its code, user interface, brand assets, logos, design, curated card catalog, answer explanations, and editorial texts, is owned by Efelyra Studio and protected by intellectual property laws. Third-party research citations and source references remain the property of their respective holders and are cited solely for academic attribution.

6. Acceptable use and restrictions

You agree not to: (a) copy, modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble THEMWISE, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited or expressly permitted by applicable law; (b) systematically scrape, mine, extract, or redistribute the question catalog or app content for commercial use or compilation; (c) attempt to circumvent security measures, version gates, or technical limitations; or (d) use the app for any unlawful or abusive purpose.

7. Internet connection and required updates

An active internet connection is required to use THEMWISE. Release builds verify whether the installed version remains supported. Efelyra Studio reserves the right to require users to update to a newer release to continue using the service. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted availability or permanent compatibility with all devices, operating systems, or networks.

8. In-app purchases and monetization

The current release of THEMWISE is free of charge and contains no advertisements and no in-app purchases. If a future release introduces optional monetization (such as an ad-supported tier or an optional one-time Lifetime Ad-Free purchase), digital purchases will be processed through Google Play subject to Google Play's billing, payment, and refund terms. THEMWISE does not offer subscriptions.

9. Gameplay progress and data storage

Your learning progress, seen cards, answer statistics, and preferences are stored locally on your device. The app provides a "Reset Progress" option in Settings to wipe this data at will. Efelyra Studio is not responsible for lost progress caused by device changes, operating system cleanup, or app uninstallation.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, THEMWISE is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. Efelyra Studio disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of content.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Efelyra Studio and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, relationship disputes, or emotional distress, arising out of or related to your use of THEMWISE. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

12. Changes to terms and contact

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published within the app with an updated effective date. Continued use of THEMWISE after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
