Efelyra Studio ("we", "us", or "our") publishes THEMWISE. We believe in transparency and data minimization. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in THEMWISE. We do not intentionally create user accounts, profiles, tracking identifiers, or advertising identifiers, nor do we collect user-entered personal information. Your gameplay progress and app preferences remain stored locally on your own device.

1. Information we do not collect

THEMWISE does not require an account, user profile, email registration, or login. You can use the app without providing your name, email address, phone number, or other personal information. The app does not intentionally collect, sell, or share user-provided personal information with data brokers or advertising networks.

2. Information stored locally on your device

THEMWISE stores your app preferences and learning progress locally on your device using standard device storage (SharedPreferences). This data includes:
• Settings: Sound and Vibration toggles, and your selected language.
• Learning progress: IDs of cards viewed, recent cards history (to reduce repetition), questions answered, correct answer counts, completed session counts, and daily challenge completion status and scores.
• Cached technical data: Temporary cached configuration (such as version requirements) to minimize network requests.
You can reset your learning progress at any time from Settings > RESET PROGRESS. Resetting clears your card history, answer stats, and daily scores while leaving your sound, vibration, and language settings intact.

3. Internet connection and version checks

THEMWISE requires an active internet connection to run, even though the learning card catalog is packaged locally inside the app. When launched, the app makes an HTTPS request to our configured Cloudflare-hosted endpoint to verify whether the installed app version is supported and whether a required update exists. In order to fulfill this request and maintain network security, standard network metadata (such as your IP address and HTTP headers) may necessarily be processed by the infrastructure provider. Such handling is governed by that infrastructure provider's applicable privacy practices. We do not create user accounts or link network requests to identifiable user profiles.

4. Advertising, analytics, and tracking

The current release of THEMWISE does not display advertisements and does not include advertising SDKs, behavioral analytics SDKs, or third-party crash reporting tools. We do not access or collect device advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID). If you tap an external link to update the app, you will be directed to the Google Play Store, which operates under Google's independent terms and privacy policy.

5. In-app purchases and billing

The current release of THEMWISE contains no in-app purchases, paid features, or digital subscriptions. No payment processing libraries are included. If future releases offer optional one-time purchases (such as an ad-free upgrade), transactions will be processed directly through Google Play in accordance with Google Play's privacy policy, and THEMWISE will never receive or store your payment details.

6. Device permissions

THEMWISE requests only standard network access (android.permission.INTERNET). The app does not request access to your precise or approximate location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, media files, device accounts, or phone identity.

7. Support communications

If you contact us for customer support or feedback at [email protected], we receive your email address and any message contents or attachments you choose to provide. We use this information solely to assist you, troubleshoot technical problems, and improve the app. Support correspondence is deleted once no longer needed for support or recordkeeping purposes.

8. Data retention and deletion

Local preferences and gameplay progress remain on your device until you modify them, use the in-app Reset Progress feature, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling THEMWISE removes all locally stored app data in accordance with your operating system's normal behavior.

9. Children's privacy

THEMWISE provides educational micro-learning content regarding relationship science, communication, and social behavior in a non-graphic manner. The app does not intentionally collect personal information from children under the age of digital consent required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. Parents and legal guardians should review the applicable app store age rating to determine whether the educational content is suitable for their household.

10. Security

Because THEMWISE does not collect or store user accounts or personal profiles on remote servers, your exposure to remote data breaches is minimized. Network communications for version checks use industry-standard HTTPS encryption. We encourage users to maintain basic security protections on their devices.

11. Your rights and choices

You have direct control over your data within the app. You can adjust sound and vibration, switch languages, or clear your entire learning progress at any time. Because we do not collect personal data or maintain user accounts, we do not hold personal files linked to your identity. 12. Policy updates and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product updates, operational changes, or legal requirements. The updated policy will be available within the app with a revised effective date.
