This Privacy Policy explains how Efelyra Studio ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application, QUIZ / BRAIN BATTLE (package: app.nexusmobile.quizbrainbattle).

2. Local Gameplay and Profile Data

QUIZ / BRAIN BATTLE does not require a user account, login, email address, or phone number to play. Core gameplay progress is stored locally on your device. This may include answered and seen questions, completed sessions, XP, levels, titles, category mastery, achievements, lifeline inventory and usage, preferences, favorites, and profile information you choose to add in the app.

Local profile images and other local gameplay data remain on your device unless you deliberately use a sharing feature. Clearing the app's data, using the in-app game-progress reset, or uninstalling the application may permanently remove locally stored progress.

3. Network Services and Competitive Modes

The app uses network services for functions that require them, including version/configuration checks and online competitive events such as Daily or Weekend battles when those modes are available.

When you participate in an online competitive event, our service may process game-generated identifiers and gameplay records needed to operate and verify the event. Depending on the mode, this can include an attempt or session identifier, event identifier and type, canonical question identifiers, selected answer indices, response timing, completion state, score, result-verification information, and leaderboard-related result data.

These competitive records are used to run the event, calculate or verify results, prevent duplicate or invalid submissions, maintain competitive integrity, troubleshoot service problems, and support abuse prevention. They are not a cloud backup of your full local gameplay history.

4. Technical Request Data and Infrastructure

Network requests are transmitted over HTTPS. Our web and backend infrastructure uses Cloudflare services, including services such as CDN/Pages, Workers and database infrastructure used by the application.

As with ordinary internet communication, technical request information such as IP address, request timestamp, user-agent or network metadata may be processed by us or our infrastructure provider for delivery, security, reliability, diagnostics, and abuse prevention. Operational logs may be retained for these purposes according to applicable technical, security, and legal requirements.

5. Advertising, Purchases and Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell personal data. Competitive gameplay records are not used by Efelyra Studio for cross-app behavioral advertising.

Advertising, billing, or other monetization features may be introduced or enabled in a future version of the application. If a future feature materially changes how personal data is processed, this Privacy Policy and applicable store disclosures will be updated before or when that change becomes effective.

6. Sharing and User-Generated Content

The app can create shareable result or achievement images on your device. Sharing is initiated by you through the Android sharing interface. Once you choose another application or service to receive shared content, that third party handles the content under its own privacy practices.

QUIZ / BRAIN BATTLE does not provide a public user-posting or social-feed system operated by Efelyra Studio.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Local application data remains on your device until you reset or clear it, uninstall the app, or otherwise remove it.

Server-side competitive and technical records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate events, preserve result integrity, provide security and abuse prevention, diagnose service issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. Because the app does not use a conventional user-account system, there is no in-app account-deletion flow.

Because competitive records may be associated with game-generated identifiers rather than a conventional account, we may need sufficient information to identify the relevant record and will handle requests as required by applicable law.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the service, including HTTPS for network communication and server-side validation for competitive submissions. No method of transmission, storage, or security control can guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the application, its online services, or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the current version.
